Boney Kapoor reveals daughter Anshula’s wedding with Rohan Thakkar will merge two cultures under one roof

The countdown has officially begun. Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar are set to get married on July 6, and the celebrations have already started rolling. Producer Boney Kapoor confirmed the wedding details himself.

Papa Kapoor told IWMBuzz that the wedding will blend two communities and will wrap up entirely in a single day. No sprawling multi-day extravaganza here, just a focused and intimate celebration.

The Kapoor family shows up in full force

The pre-wedding festivities brought the whole Kapoor clan together. Anshula’s siblings, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor, all joined the celebrations. Cousin Shanaya Kapoor was also part of the joyous gathering.

Anshula is the daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and the late Mona Shourie Kapoor.

Anshula gave fans a glimpse of the festivities herself, sharing moments from the celebrations on her Instagram Stories.

She looked radiant in a golden lehenga, paired beautifully with a red and magenta dupatta. Rohan matched the occasion in a maroon sherwani.

The pre-wedding festivities kicked off with a Mata Ki Chowki, attended by close family members. It was a spiritual start to the wedding celebrations, keeping things rooted in tradition.

Anshula’s aunt, Maheep Kapoor, also took to social media to share her own set of photos and videos from the ceremony.

What’s next: A cocktail party

The celebrations are far from over once the wedding ceremony wraps up on July 6. A cocktail party will follow right after, and this one is likely to draw a notable crowd from the Hindi film industry.

Guests attending the cocktail party have reportedly been asked to stick to a modern Indian dress code.
